If you thought that electric forklifts were no match for combustion forklifts then it’s time to think again.

Clark have recently released a brand new range of four-wheel electric forklifts that are equally matched with combustion forklifts in terms of both power and cost. Not only that, but the forklifts are capable of working just as well as any diesel or LPG forklift, and offer the same high efficiency.

If those looking to invest in a fleet of forklifts are put off electric models due to the thought that the cost may well be more, they’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that in terms of price, they electric forklifts match that of combustion forklifts.

The new Clark electric forklifts offer great value for money, the offer a cleaner, greener approach to the operation of a fleet of forklifts.

Clarke’s EPX20i-32i counterbalance trucks offer load capacities from 2.0 to 3.2 tons which are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Due to the design and the larger from wheels, this gives them the added advantage or higher ground clearance meaning uneven floors and ramps present no issues.

The counterbalance has a 15-kW traction motor which offers powerful and reliable operation and the 48 Volt three-phase technology means that high top speeds are possible as well as good acceleration.  There are three independent braking systems – electric brake (equipped with a recovery system which charges the battery every time it is used), parking brake and the operating brake.

So if you’re looking for an efficient, robust, easily maintained and environmentally friendly option to add to your fleet look no further.
