Yale is a huge name in the Forklift Industry but just like its many competitors, Yale is always looking for new ways to bring new technology to the market.

Recently they have unveiled their new high-capacity truck which adds to it’s already diverse portfolio.

The new truck, the GDP160EC12 was first revealed to Yale’s customers and dealers as well as journalists at their ‘This is Yale’ event which was held in Germany back on the 19th and 20th of September.

The new model is capable of lifting weights of up to 16 tonnes and at a 1200mm load centre. This is great news in the answer to being able to move and transport unusual size loads. It has been announced to lend itself to moving objects such as lumber, concrete, steel and other heavy loads.

In terms of operator benefits, the new truck is said to have great operator visibility as well as a higher number of carriage options. Another benefit is that the narrow front axle, this allows the load centre line distance to be enhanced meaning that the carriage can be mounted as close as possible to the drive wheels.
