The Heavy Fuel Oil (Amendment) Regulations 2014 have been made and laid, and will come into force on 20 February 2014. These regulations amend the Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 1999 (COMAH), which apply across Great Britain. The Competent Authority has published guidance for operators who have heavy fuel oil (HFO) on site.
